With a multifaceted career background in IT, creative arts, broadcasting, and entrepreneurship, I am passionate about serving the highly creative, in teams and organizations, and as individuals, professionally and personally.
Every human being has a unique voice, a unique perspective, and a unique set of skills and experiences they bring to any given challenge, project, goal, or relationship. Finding that authentic expression of "I" within the greater context of "We", is transformational on an individual level, as well as in any corporate or group dynamic. Trust is the foundation of all great relationships, whether at home or in the workplace. Maximizing trust is foundational.
Using tools based on scientific research, in neuroscience, as a Conversational Intelligence Enhanced Skills Coach, and in the biometric feedback energy management techniques employed as a HeartMath Certified Mentor, together we can gain insights to help in the recognition of what is happening during conversations. Understanding these chemical reactions, and learning techniques and tools to self-regulate and co-regulate enables a greater ability choose responses in any given situation. Creating a climate of trust and aspirations of mutual success, vs power-over others, down-regulates the fear response and expands the ability to be creative. Whether personally, professionally, or corporately, this climate change is powerful and rewarding!
As important as intellectual understanding is, living from your heart is essential to living a happy and successful life! Finding the unique voice or expression of a person’s individual motivational DNA promotes greater satisfaction both personally and professionally, leading to less stress, and greater productivity and innovation.
Being inauthentic to our nature and design will always cause stress (cortisol release) in some part of who we are! It might be in physical health by way of extra pounds, or enzyme imbalance, or gut bacteria run amok. It could be in our emotions, being trapped in the flow of so much energy drain that the ability to imagine moving forward has vanished. It might impact cognitive abilities, operating straight from the primitive brain, and, after feeding it so long with cortisol, the ability to think reasonably (executive function) has diminished. Or, maybe stress has become so entrenched in the spirit, that it seems impossible to find any spiritual connection at all with God, with nature, with beauty, with ourselves, or with the world. When this happens, it is not unusual to believe that there is nothing bigger than the problems we face in the moment! Decisions become reactionary vs responsive. Creativity is stifled. Each one of those perspectives puts life and sustainability in jeopardy, if not in the immediate, then eventually.
