The reason why I fell in love with coaching is that it provides a safe, positive space for clients to explore what it is they really want in life, who it is they truly are, and how they most want to show up in the world. A bit about me: I'm an author and a certified professional coach. I call beautiful Nanaimo BC Canada home, with my husband and two sons. I have BA degree in Business and Psychology and I completed my coach training through Erickson International College. When I am not coaching or with my family, I love to write. I write books, articles and I blog for The Huffington Post. Most of what I write about is on the topic of self-empowerment and creating joyful habits. I get what it is like to balance a busy life with having a family and a business.

Through my writing and coaching, my greatest hope is to help others wholeheartedly embrace their own greatness and go after what it is they truly desire. When I'm not engaged in those passions, I'm usually out enjoying an active lifestyle including running, fitness, yoga and keeping up to the adventurous pace of my amazing, sports-crazed family. I am passionate about helping people struggling with health issues particularly around surgery. As someone who has worked in healthcare and knows the surgical process well, I am empathetic to the challenges that patients face when deciding to proceed with surgery and trying to figure out the process, recovery and impact on all the other aspects of their life. I believe that pairing a patient with a coach who will be available to talk about the experience at all stages will lead to a better outcome.
