Lisa Pasbjerg, is the founder and CEO of Focused Coaching, LLC and The Leadership Focus, both based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Diane brings three decades of experience and a unique perspective to her work, having served in many different leadership roles in corporations, boards and associations. Diane is a coach and advisor to leaders and consultants regarding strategic issues and leadership style. She has done extensive coaching and consulting in the United States and globally on leadership development, strategic planning and implementation, process improvement, team building, change and transition, union management relations and managing the people and systems side of mergers and reorganizations. Diane’s strong process design and facilitation skills enable her to effectively and efficiently move leaders and groups toward accomplishing their purpose. Her clients include a variety of public and private sector organizations from manufacturing to government agencies. In addition to her consulting practice, Diane is a leadership coach and instructor for the Saline Leadership Institute (SLI).

Diane has a Master’s of Art in Industrial Relations from Wayne State University and a Bachelor’s of General Studies from the University of Michigan. She completed the Graduate Advance Program in Organization Development at Columbia University in New York. Diane is certified in Marshall Goldsmith’s Stakeholder Centered Coaching for Leaders and Teams. Diane also completed the Orion Leadership Intensive Coaching Process, Personal Decisions Inc. Approach and Method
I follow a holistic approach and co-active form of coaching which I also implement in training. I aim to create a deep connection to engage in the exploration of aspirations, values, and motivation, and facilitate the discovery of competencies and thought processes. I strive to create a space of awareness for the self and for what is beyond the self, allowing that awareness to open up for shifts in mindset, enhancing communication and crossing cultural divides.

Who I am
I was born in Germany and grew up in Taiwan where I went to an international school that hosted 52 nations at that time. Speaking German, English, Chinese, and later Spanish daily formed the core of my multicultural comfort zone very early on. After enjoying a 15 yr. global sales & marketing career in an international setting headquartered in Germany, I grasped the opportunity of completely recreating my own path upon moving to Michigan in 2010. I find joy in diversity, perspectives, building connections, and simplifying complexity, and I use my various cross-cultural experiences to support clients in their growth, creating their authentic self, forever learning, and courage to become the person they strive to be.
