I began my executive coaching career in 2007 with a strong belief in the power of choice to transform lives, and consequently, the world. Whether we recognize it or not, we all make choices about how we see, value and interact with others. I work with leaders who strive for continuous improvement and are ready to own their choices and take the next steps in their high performance journey.

Recent coachees have improved in practical skills like team development, expanding influence, delegation, coaching others, dealing with conflict and running effective meetings. A recent coachee said, “I can't begin to tell you how much the coaching helped me. It was very easy to open up and recognize the reasons I was struggling.”

My methods combine both structure and flexibility to adjust to each person’s unique needs and goals. I’ve experienced the power of involving others, like the coachee’s boss, in some of the coaching process for enhanced accountability, and I also recognize that there are times when the coaching partnership is completely confidential experience. Regardless of the structure of the experience, the coachee is in the driver’s seat, and I’ll work with him/her to create a process that works.

I am a former social worker and family counselor and supported personal growth and development for fifteen years before entering the professional coaching and training field. Lisa Pasbjerg, is the founder and CEO of Focused Coaching, LLC and The Leadership Focus, both based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Diane brings three decades of experience and a unique perspective to her work, having served in many different leadership roles in corporations, boards and associations. Diane is a coach and advisor to leaders and consultants regarding strategic issues and leadership style. She has done extensive coaching and consulting in the United States and globally on leadership development, strategic planning and implementation, process improvement, team building, change and transition, union management relations and managing the people and systems side of mergers and reorganizations. Diane’s strong process design and facilitation skills enable her to effectively and efficiently move leaders and groups toward accomplishing their purpose. Her clients include a variety of public and private sector organizations from manufacturing to government agencies. In addition to her consulting practice, Diane is a leadership coach and instructor for the Saline Leadership Institute (SLI).

Diane has a Master’s of Art in Industrial Relations from Wayne State University and a Bachelor’s of General Studies from the University of Michigan.
